Chicken wings, Korean style.

These are crunchy and super tasty.


Chicken wings 8 pieces, cut in 2

Rice wine 1/4 cup

Salt ,pepper

Potato starch or corn starch-1 cup

For the sauce-

Soy sauce-1 tbs



Sesame oil-1tbs

Tomato sauce-2 tbs

Hot sauce-1tbs

Garlic cloves_3 large, finely chopped.


Mix chicken wings with a rice wine and salt, pepper.

Roll each piece in a starch and set aside.

Heat an oil in a deep pot or pan.

Cook wings for 3-4 minutes in 2 batches.

Take out, heat an oil again and get the wings second time for 3 minutes.

Whilst chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce in a wide pan.

Mix all the ingredients and after bubbles, reduce the fire and cook for 2 minutes.

Transfer cooked chicken, directly to a sauce pan and with a spatula, coat each piece in a sauce.

Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and spring onions, if desired.
