Crushed Baby Potatoes with Olives, Cherry Tomatoes and Rosemary!

I am quite fond of crushed potatoes, it’s very easy to make them, and the taste is completely different to any other potato recipes.

I steam them first, but you can boil them of course.

I am using thai style olives, that i think add a special flavor to the dish, but any olives can do, as long as they are stoned.


Baby potatoes- 1kg, washed.


Cherry tomatoes- 1 pack

Garlic- 5-6 small cloves.

Rosemary- 4-5 stems

Olive oil

Salt, pepper.


Steam or boil potatoes till soft.

Heat the oven to 200C.

Press them with a potato masher, do not worry if they break. Like this.


Heat an oil in a frying pan, add potatoes till browned on both sides.

Add the rest of ingredients and keep on stirring.

Transfer to a baking dish and cook in the oven for 30 minuets.
